Four generations of excellence, originally rooted in the production of technical fabrics for hospital and healthcare environments. AGUA has evolved into a fabrics manufacturer for high performance, long lasting, and luscious soft fabrics and faux leathers suitable for use in each and every sector.
AGUA Cashmir & Snowdon
AGUA FABRICS
Established in 1972, believe that fabrics can only be beautiful if the processes used to create them preserve the integrity of people and the environment. For that reason, CREVIN uses a design language that is conceived around longevity, resource-friendliness, recycling and zero-waste.
CREVIN Velvety
CREVIN
Established in 1979, a family company based on three fundamental pillars: craftsmanship, innovation and responsibility. Its origins in the manufacture of sisal bags have allowed Naturtex to evolve towards new production processes combining craftsmanship, innovation and respect for its context, people and environment.
NATURTEX
High Performance means durability giving the longest possible life to the fabric through applying resilience to heavy wear-and-tear, and staining. Most of our manufacturers offer warranty to their fabrics of 5 years under normal usage, and in some cases 10 years.
Recycled content can be up to 100% in our fabric collections. CREVIN collects waste yarn fibres from the weaving processes to feed back into the manufacturing of the fabrics leading to zero-waste. More importantly, most of our fabrics at their end of life are recyclable, if not, they are then biodegradable.
AGUA FABRICS produces a number of fabric collections that have biodegradable content which helps with the eventual end-of-life of the fabric.
Fabrics are designed and manufactured without putting people's health at risk.
Fabrics treatments are REACH compliant and are Phthalate free. Also, our fabrics are certified to OEKO-TEX Standards, meaning free of harmful chemicals and safe for human use.
Fabrics can have Anti-Microbial technology that gives protection against bacteria and viruses.
AGUA FABRICS soft fabric collections have incorporated anti-microbial protection against COVID-19 virus with the bespoke AguaGuard 365
Our manufacturers are not only committed to zero-waste from fabric production, they are also committed to minimising the use of natural resources such as water during production, and the reduction of water consumption through wastewater recovery systems.
CREVIN boasts over 80% of water can be reused in their innovative Ultrafiltration system, and are now working on the total re-use of water in their processes.
AGUA FABRICS VerdeEco collection boasts a waterless fabric production method from 100% recycled fibres, and which utilises dry-dying technique.
Our manufacturers take pride in the constant evaluation of their waste and excess materials to identify and improve production techniques, that are cleaner and more responsible to nature.
All raw materials and chemical substance used in the production of our partners' fabrics, comply with strict UK / European Regulations, and are documented in manufacturers' ISO9001 and ISO14001 certifications.
Our manufacturers' textile mills, whether in-house or out-sourced also comply with the relevant UK / European Regulations.
AGUA FABRICS and their textile mills, are in the process of implementing halogen-free fire retardants (PFC Free). As a result of this and other sustainable initiatives, environmental STeP accreditation through OEKO-TEX will soon be awarded to the factory.
NATURTEX uses materials and production techniques that respect the environment.Their decades long experience has allowed them to establish strong ties with suppliers, taking care of the origin of their products as well as the people who make them possible.
